  • Beskrivelse: Τhe cheerful daughter of the neighborhood taverna owner, Asimina, wins an apartment in a cooking contest and thus becomes “the lady of the kitchen”. But even if she became a lady by chance, nevertheless, she feels she ought to live as a true lady. And so the formerly modest Asimina sets sail for the big life. Her advertising obligations and her false marriage to an elderly man, Mr. Goustavos (in order to be able to take part in a contest) alienate her from her father and fiancé Thanasis. The latter is a kind-hearted electrician who also works as a football referee every Sunday and often gets a good beating over his calls. Before long, however, Asimina is back together with them both.
